Tourism in Cocentaina

Cocentaina is found in the north of the Alicante province, to the east of the nature reserve, Serra de Mariola. The distance being approximately 60 km from the capital of the province. Its vast history, dating back from the neolithic and medieval ages, have left visible remains which even nowadays continue forming a rich historical heritage.

The town’s mountainous area offers different routes which go through the nature reserve, as well as a unique cuisine.

The festivals and celebrations are held during the whole year, the most important ones being  Cocentaina’s trade fair, which is of national tourist interest, the Moor and Christian festivity and the Virgen Milagro, amongst others.
